General questions
Do you need my water or electricity?
No. We carry our own water and power. All we need is a spot to park beside the car.
How long will the detail take?
Most interior details take about two hours, a Full Detail about three to four, and a Mobile Car Wash about an hour. Larger SUVs and trucks take a little longer.
My driveway is steep. Can you still work on the car?
Usually, yes. On a very steep drive we may ask you to move the car to the street or a flatter spot so water and products stay where they should.
Do you come to gated neighborhoods and HOAs?
Yes. Add your gate code or guard instructions when you book. If your HOA limits washing on site, tell us and we will plan around the rules.
Which areas do you serve?
West Lake Hills, Rollingwood, Westlake and Davenport Ranch, Barton Creek and Lost Creek, plus Tarrytown, Cuernavaca, Sunset Valley, Northwest Hills, River Place, Steiner Ranch, Oak Hill and Barton Hills. Just outside these? Call and ask.
What if it rains or hails?
We watch the forecast. If storms are due during your slot, we will reach out and move you to the next clear day.
Can you clean a child's car seat or remove dog hair?
Yes. Car seat cleaning, pet hair removal and odor removal are add-ons you can pick when you book.
When do I pay?
After the job, once you have looked the car over. We confirm accepted payment methods when you book.
Interior Detailing
How long is an interior detail?
About two hours for most sedans. Three-row SUVs and trucks take closer to three.
Will the seats be wet afterward?
They can feel slightly damp for a few hours after shampooing. Leaving the windows cracked in the garage helps them dry.
Can you get rid of a sunscreen or lake smell?
Usually. We clean the fabric first, then treat the smell. Very strong odors may need the odor removal add-on.
Exterior Detailing
Will this fix swirl marks?
No. It removes contamination and adds protection. Swirls and light scratches need Paint Correction.
How do I keep pollen off between visits?
Book a Mobile Car Wash every few weeks in spring. Sealed paint lets pollen rinse off far more easily.
Is it safe to detail in the summer heat?
Yes. We work one panel at a time, in shade where we can, and keep surfaces cool so nothing dries on the paint.
Full Detail
How long does a Full Detail take?
About three to four hours for most cars, longer for large trucks and three-row SUVs.
Should I book this before selling?
Yes. It covers both what buyers see and what they smell, which helps with photos and test drives.
Do you need a garage or shade?
No. We can work in the driveway or on the street. Shade helps in summer but is not required.
Mobile Car Wash
What is the difference between this and an Exterior Detail?
The wash keeps a clean car clean. An Exterior Detail adds decontamination, water-spot treatment and a sealant.
How often should I book in pollen season?
Every two to three weeks in spring and during cedar season. Monthly is enough for the rest of the year.
Can you wash more than one car?
Yes. List every vehicle when you book so we set aside enough time.
Paint Correction
Can every scratch be polished out?
No. If a scratch catches your fingernail, it is usually too deep to remove safely by polishing.
How long will the results last?
The correction itself is permanent. New swirls depend on how the car is washed from then on.
Why do you quote after looking?
Paint hardness and condition vary a lot from car to car, so we price it once we have seen it.
